This year I will be heading back to Brandon’s “Big One”, but with a slight twist. Unlike the last couple of years, I will be attending the market on the FIRST weekend, rather than the second. My booth will still be in the UTC Pavilion, albeit in a different spot, so keep an eye out for me!

Oh boy is this going to be a fun one! On September 5th the market opens with a Sip +Shop from 4:00pm-9:00pm, a live band, and the theme of the evening is Canadian Tuxedo. CAN. NOT. WAIT. The follow day the market continues from 10:00am-5:00pm for another wonderful day of shopping. Hope to see you there!
Beauhead Arts Fest

Join me for my WCA workshop! Whether you have a high-end camera, or basic cellphone, this workshop will help you hone your creativity to foster outings filled will fun and exploration. During our time together, we will investigate topics like the artistic side of composition, how light can change your photos, and how to use your environment to bring colour and energy to your shots. While the session will include some technical discussion, the focus will be on learning to enjoy the natural world through your camera and is geared towards those looking to begin a journey into photography. Workshop will include a walk through the Visitor’s Centre gardens to hone your skills.

FLASH Photographic Festival

I am incredibly excited to announce that I will be a part of the 2025 FLASH Photographic Festival, Manitoba’s largest celebration of photography. The festival is a month long, province-wide, event that will include the official opening of The Dusty Unknown gallery space at Collective Wellness Group on April 2nd, as well as a photography workshop on April 16th. The workshop will run from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and will focus on the finding creative joy in your photography. Registration is $35 and limited spots are available!
My pop-up market at Wasagaming Community Arts was such a success last year that I’ve decided to do it again! My shop will contain all of the classic prints types you know and love (birch, metal, postcards, etc.), plus a Riding Mountain National Park Wildlife print giveaway!

If you have a love of art, wildlife and community building, you should look for both me and my work at The Brandon Riverbank Art Auction Fundraising Event later this month. Starting on February 23rd, the event will last three days and includes: a silent art auction to raise money for the Peter Sawatzky Sculpture Park, a chance to purchase work by local artists, and an Art Gala (with refreshments) at 5:00 pm on February 25th. A 30” x 20” photo on birch print of my stone sheep, Petite Langue, will be up for auction and several other framed and matted prints of my work will also be for sale. Hope to see you there!

Wildlife Have Rehabilitation Centre

Join me at the Section 6 Brewing Co. for my first-ever solo exhibition, “Wild on the Walls”. Opening reception is Monday, January 9th, at 6:30 PM. The exhibition features wildlife photography captured across the country and printed on pressed birch. All work on display will also be available for purchase. If you can’t make opening night, feel free to visit the brewery to view my work, on display until March 29th.
